We left Koh Samui one day before and stayed one ninght in BJ Hotel in Suratthani Town. (490 Baht per night (About 1km from Kased Market bus stop, in the road opposite to the Town Pilar Tel : +66 (0) 77 217 410 Fax : +66 (0) 77 217 414
At 5:30 a.m. we got pick-up from the tour company (600 Baht per person for the transfer from the town to Baan Ta Khoon Distrct where Ratchaprapa Dam is. If from Suratthani Airport or Suaratthani Train Staion is 500 Baht) Because we wanted to take the boat time at 7:30 a.m. (the next one is at 10:30 a.m.)
ตี ห้าครึ่งรถบริษัทมารับเราที่หน้าโรงแรมเพื่อจะไปที่บริษัทสุราษฎร์อินเตอร์ ทัวร์ ที่อำเภอบ้านตาขุน ซึ่งเป็นที่ตั้งของเขื่อนรัชชประภา (600 บาทต่อคนครับ ถ้ารับจากสนามบินหรือสถานีรถไฟสุราษฎร์ธานีก็คนละ 500 บาทครับ) ซึ่งเราจะไปขึ้นเรือเที่ยว 7:30 น. (เรือเที่ยวถัดไปคือ 10:30 น.)
The van took us about 1 hour then we arrived at Surat Inter Tour Company Office. ประมาณ 1 ชั่วโมงก็มาถึงบริษัทสุราษฎร์อินเตอร์ทัวร์ครับ
The driver took us to take the pictures at the area of the water gate of the dam. คนขับรถพาเรามาถ่ายรูปกันตรงสันเขื่อนครับ
Then he took us to the pier in the dam. หลังจากนั้นคนขับก็พาเราไปส่งที่ท่าเรือในเขื่อนครับ
Embarked into the long tail boat. ขึ้นเรือหางยาวแบบนี้ครับ
Departed from the pier. It was very beautiful atmosphere, but when we went deeper area inside the dam it rained very heavy. Goodluck, we prepared the raincoat with us.เริ่ม ออกเดินทางจากท่าเรือแล้วครับ แรกๆอากาศดี วิวสวยมากๆ แต่พอเข้าไปในเขื่อนลึกๆเข้าฝนตกหนักมากครับ แต่โชคดีที่เราเตรียมเสื้อกันฝนไปก็เลยเปียกกันแค่นิดหน่อย
1 Hour later, the long tail boat stopped here then we disembarked and walked along the dirt road later. อีกหนึ่งชั่วโมงต่อมา เรือก็จอดให้เราลงตรงนี้ครับแล้วก็ต้องเดินขึ้นไปตามทางลูกรังดินแดง

The staff of the Raft House helped us to carry our bags with this motorbike. พนักงานของแพมารับเราเพื่อช่วยขนกระเป๋าครับ ขนกับรถมอเตอร์ไซต์คันนี้แหละครับเอาไม้มาพาดเสียบเข้ากับตะกร้าใบใหญ่ทั้งสองข้าง
Then we had to walk along the track like this about 1 1/2 Km. to another side of this land (It is called Talae Nai) to take the raft boat to our raft house. หลังจากนั้นเราก็ต้องเดินไปตามทางลูกรังดินแดงแบบนี้ประมาณกิโลครึ่งเพื่อไปขึ้น แพอีกด้านหนึ่งซึ่งจะเรียกว่าทะเลใน เพราะเป็นส่วนของทะเลสาบที่อยู่ด้านในครับ
Here is Talae Nai area, we had to take a raft boat. Just 10 minutes to the raft house. มาถึงฝั่งทะเลในแล้วก็ต้องขึ้นแพติดเครื่องยนต์ไปที่แพที่พักอีกต่อใช้เวลาประมาณ 10 นาที
It still heavy rained. ฝนยังกระหน่ำไม่หยุดเลยครับ
We finally arried at 500 Rai Raft House. ในที่สุดก็มาถึงแพ 500 ไร่แล้วครับ
The raft house staff served us tea & coffee. เจ้าหน้าที่ที่แพเสิร์ฟชา กาแฟครับ
Oh! my God ! What is this? Bowling Pins? อะไรเนี่ย พินโบวลิ่งหรือเปล่าเนี่ย
Inside the room of the raft house. ภายในห้องในแพครับ น่านอนมาก
The toilet and bathroom are on the land, just behind the raft house. ห้องอาบน้ำและห้องสุขาจะอยู่บนดินนะครับต้องเดินขึ้นไปอยู่ด้านหลังแพครับ
Then, they surved us the delicious lunch. หลังจากนั้นก็ทานมื้อเที่ยงครับ อร่อยมากๆ หิวๆ
The rain stopped already but the sky still cloudy. ฝนหยุดแล้วแต่ท้องฟ้าก็ยังไม่เปิด
Time at leisure. พักผ่อนตามอัธยาศัยครับ
We did kayaking. พายเรือคายัค ครับผม
Time to jump down to the clear and green water. (Not cold) ถีงเวลากระโดดน้ำเล่นแล้วครับ ไม่หนาวเลย
Time to take some pictures. ถึงเวลาถ่ายรูปแล้วครับ
Ladies in a mythical story!!! นางในวรรณคดี (นึกเอาเองนะครับว่าเรื่องอะไร ฮ่าๆๆๆๆ)

Afternoon trip for the coral cave. ตอนบ่ายไปชมถ้ำปะการังครับผม
The cave is just opposite side of the raft house. ถ้ำปะการังอยู่เยื้องๆกันนิดหน่อยกับแพ
We had to walk and climb a little bit to go inside the coral cave.จะต้องเดินขึ้นไปและมีปีนเล็กน้อยเพื่อจะเข้าไปในถ้ำปะการังครับผม
Inside the coral cave, just beginning of the cave's entrance. ตรงนี้แค่เริ่มต้นทางเข้านะครับ
Stalactite หินย้อยครับ
Shining in the dark. ส่องประกายระยิบระยับในความมืด
To visit the cave, the tour guide used the fluorescent light. ในการชมถ้ำไกด์ใช้ไฟจากหลอดฟลูออเรสเซ้นส์แบบนี้นะครับ
This one looks like the curtain. อันนี้เหมือนผ้าม่านเลยครับ
After visited the coral cave, we headed back to the raft house and had dinner. Please note that in the raft house area has no electricity, just the electric current from the generator and will stop the engine at 10:00 pm. and no network covered for the mobile phone signal. หลัง จากชมถ้ำปะการังเสร็จก็กลับไปที่แพและทานอาหารเย็น ที่แพจะไม่มีไฟฟ้าใช้นะครับมีแต่เครื่องปั่นไฟซึ่งจะหยุดทำงานตอนสี่ทุ่ม และไม่มีสัญญาณโทรศัพท์มือถือแม้แต่ยี่ห้อเดียวครับ
Next morning we had a trip to see the fog. เช้าวันรุ่งขึ้นมีทริปชมหมอกครับ
Beautiful & calm สวยงามและสงบ
Stopped to see the monkeys on the cliff. หยุดดูฝูงลิงที่หน้าผาสูง

Many trees were floods died in the dam. ต้นไม้โดนน้ำในเขื่อนท่วมตายก็เยอะครับ แต่ดูสวยไปอีกแบบ
Heading back to the raft house then we had breakfast with boiled rice and departed from the raft house. มุ่งหน้ากลับที่แพ กินข้าวต้มแล้วก็ออกจากแพครับ
We were transfered by the raft boat back to the other side of the lake, walked 1 1/2 Km again to the place to get in a boat back to Baan Ta Khoon Pier. This picture is very beautiful. The day we came it rained a lot but the day we went back was really beautiful.
ออกจากเรือนแพก็มีแพยนต์ไปส่งอีกฟากหนึ่งเหมือนตอนขามาทุกประการ เดิมกิโลครึ่งเหมือนกับวันที่มาเหมือนเดิมมาตรงจุดนี้ วันกลับฝนไม่ตก ถ่ายรูปสวยมาก เดี๋ยวก็ต้องนั่งเรือหางยาวนี้กลับบ้านตาขุนแล้วครับ
We also stopped at "Khao Sam Kler" or the mountain of three frainds, but it stared to rain again. คนขับเรือแวะให้ถ่ายรูปที่เขาสามเกลอด้วยครับ แต่ฝนเริ่มตกอีกแล้วครับรูปเลยมืดอีกตามเคย
We arrived at the same pier again at Baan Ta Khoon. มาถึงท่าเรือบ้านตาขุนแล้วครับ
The driver had been waiting for us already at the pier then he took us to take the picture with the signboard of Ratchaprapa Dam and send us back to Suratthani Town and we arrived Koh Samui in the evening.ป้ายเขื่อนรัชชประภาครับ คนขับรถที่รอเราอยู่แล้วพาเรามาถ่ายรูป เสร็จแล้วก็พากลับเข้าเมืองครับ กว่าจะถึงเกาะสมุยก็ค่ำพอดี
